Butcher Block and (http://maplered.com) Granite

We are having more requests for combo butcher block and (http://maplered.com) Granite (http://tanbrown.org) . Recent customer did this and (http://maplered.com) when he oiled the butcher block (actually he poured the oil!) he has oil marks on the Granite (http://tanbrown.org) (yes it was sealed) Any suggestions to prevent this from happening? Have quoted several that want a cutting board 'dropped-in' as well. We want to educate and (http://maplered.com) prevent challenges/problems down the road. Any suggestions are appreciated.
